So much going on...

Okay, so the last few months have been incrediably busy. I've not drawn, photographed, painted or even doodled. (Though I did manage to get another tattoo tonight :D) So on May 18th I got married to my high school sweetheart. He's a great guy (my daughter's father) and unfortunaly he lives in North Carolina (in case you didn't know I'm in Florida). I don't have custody of Mara (still) so I have to wait until the 19th of July for that hearing. Afterwards (if my husband and I get custody back) I'll be moving to North Carolina (yay!) But until that happens I'm stuck at my parents.

My husband is in the military (I know, weird, right?) so he can't live in Florida (no Army bases.) I'm actually really glad to be getting out of Florida (and away from a select few people). But I know I'm going to miss my friends terribly.

I went to a concert tonight (Scientists Vs. Werewolf) and it was all right. A little emo-screamy-angry boy for me, but still alright. I'm not sure where I stand with anything right now. I'm in the midst of re-evaluating my life right now so I have to get all that done and over with before I start up with the art again. I know I'm terrible at keeping my journal updated, so bear with me.

So I'm still in therapy (it's not really doing much for me, my daughter's my cure for everything! Except insomnia... there she doesn't really help.) I will be posting a picutre of her tonight so keep on the lookout for that.

I'm probably going to get back into playing DR (DragonRealms @ [link]/dr) Check it out if you've never heard of it, it's pretty fun. And if you decide to play, use my husband's account name for a referral (we'd greatly appreciate it. The name is PHEE420) Anyway, I'm still waiting for the necro guild to come out (3 years later... I think it's been 6 years since the idea came out and it'll probably be another 6 or 7 more before they get the whole thing into motion... and work all the bugs out, anyway). I'd love to be the person who beta tests that... *drools*

At the moment I'm unemployed, but I know when I get to NC I want to open my own business. I want it something in the organic line. Speaking of organics - Craig and I (that's my husband and me for those of you who don't know) are going to be having an eco-friendly wedding next July in Maryland with my biological father's side of the family. We sort of eloped in Georgia after his airborne graduation and then went to Myrtle Beach, SC for our wedding night (I wouldn't call it a honeymoon, because if I do I won't get a real one, lol.)

Ugh, what else is there to talk about? Hum... well my sister turned another year older (the middle child) and I bought her a kid's laptop (you know, one of those educational it's-not-really-a-computer type things?) And then my youngest sister is having her birthday next month (hopefully I'll be able to see her for it, I feel bad about missing out on Savannah's birthday.) I also really want to see my dad and show Mara off to my Great-grandma Katherine before she perishes (hey, she's pretty damn old, okay?)

One of my new "life goals" is to find a hobby (insert "new obsession" here.) I need something to ground me, something to be passionate about that I can't lose unless I want to. Life isn't a sure thing and I don't want to put every last bit of energy and attention into my daughter (as selfish as that sounds) because if I did that and I lost her, I'd not survive it. So a little tiny bit (see >1%) needs to go into something else. Something I can do in my spare time (possibly gardening or sewing, something to that effect) that is all my own. That's my "break" from everything else. Who knows, I got a sewing machine for mother's day (from my husband, like I asked for something like 3 years ago), so I might just sew my own wedding dress (wouldn't that be fun!!!

Anyway, I'm going to post that photo and hop off to bed... Mara's sleeping and I should be too! Night everyone!
